I think this one's right
Sep. 5th, 2003 08:12 pm( What I'm obsessed with )
Just wish I actually had more time to read books I want to read. ::sigh:: Oh well. That's what vacations are for, right?
You've got to accentuate the positive
Eliminate the negative
Latch on to the affirmative
Don't mess with Mr. In-Between
You've got to spread joy
Up to the maximum
Bring gloom down to the minimum
Have faith
Or pandemonium's liable to
Walk upon the scene.
Hee, hee...An amusing Bing Crosby song from the 1940s, but a good reminder too. And today did have its positives. Even though I felt like I fudged through my piano lesson, I received an A. That was a much-needed boost to my lagging self-esteem. ;-) Otherwise, classes were just usual and I'm very tired but glad it's the weekend (!).
Just watched another couple hours of the Oregon video. It arrived in yesterday's mail; a very welcome sight. :-) It's been fun to re-live the week -- I'm unceasingly amazed at how loud and giggly we were. Michael just sits there in shock, LOL. If I ever get married and all the girls come here, that brother o' mine will likely take to his heels and head for the hills. ;-)
All for now. I'm too tired to think coherently. (Perhaps an early symptom of Clinical Exhaustion? Only a mild case, I'm sure.)
