got the jitters
May. 3rd, 2004 12:04 amTomorrow is the big day -- my piano jury begins at 2:00pm. If you think of it, I would appreciate your prayer! More than anything, I just want to play from my heart and let God take care of the rest. I'm not experiencing jitters at the present moment, but I know the butterflies will attempt to congregate in my stomach by tomorrow.
In other news, the internet connection on my computer is broken. I'm on my brother's to type this, but hopefully will have my own back to normal functioning sometime tomorrow. Our router kicked the bucket today after having suffered a slow and painful decline over the past couple of weeks, and Dad went out this afternoon to buy a new one. It works beautifully for the computers connected directly to it, but my airport card is not communicating with it for some reason (although it claims on the box to work with my operating system). Ah, the joys of technology...
Well, I shall keep this short for the present. I'm cold, so I shall head off for a cup of hot Sleepytime tea. Or maybe Tension Tamer would be a better choice, in contemplating tomorrow's ordeal...Ahh, I wish it was tomorrow night and not tonight. But time runs on at a steady pace and we're not allowed to fast-forward or rewind. I'm sure such a rule is in place for an excellent reason or even a collection of excellent reasons.
