summer days

It's about time for a real entry, as I promised one two days ago...And yesterday's notice about "Foyle's War" was hardly a true update. I did watch the episode last night, but since the television reception was wanting, I pulled out my DVD and we watched it from that. My brother thought I was nuts to watch the DVD just because it was on television at the same time. Mom said mischievously, "She just wants to watch it when she knows others are enjoying it at the same time." Yeah, sure -- that's it. ;-) Really, I just want to watch the first four episodes again so I'll be sufficiently psyched for the new ones, which arrive in July. I can't wait, and at the same time I'm biting my fingernails because I'm desperately afraid they've injected the series with soap opera tendencies. If such is true, I shall be seen hurling blunt objects at the television screen.

But on to other topics. The past week has been pretty busy, thus my negligence in writing here. ( click to find out what I've been up to )

Time for me to go, as I want to squeeze in a bit of writing tonight. I haven't been doing as well on my one hour per day goal, but have at least been writing some amount each day. That in itself is encouraging, and I'm finding it much easier to put pen to paper when I do it consistently.
