from Wisconsin

Jess: Hi guys, I'm here! Made it safely through Cincinnati and Chicago yesterday and Jana picked me up in Madison. From there we went to Culvers (for the second time this trip, yum!) and then spent some time in the scrapbook store. Jana tried to get me to make decision about the scrapbook, but of course I didn't have a firm enough opinion on anything to satisfy her (see, Maggie? Just like I was telling you ;-D). We made a stop at Wal-Mart, too, and got home at around 9:30pm. I'm not sure how long we stayed up talking; it wasn't too long because I was exhausted and I doubt my sentences were very coherent. Well, I'll let Jana type a bit...I'm having a lovely time and trying not to think about going back to school in another week.

Jana: We haven't done much today....I got a tad sick over lunch (no, it was not Culvers, of that I am certain) so haven't been the best of hostess. But we talked on what to do for our matching scrapbooks, looked at my OR scrapbook, Jess played LIFE with the boys, and watched some home videos. Supper preparation starts in a bit -- I need to decide what to fix pretty quick. :-) We may or may not head to Madison tomorrow, depending on the weather (a snowstorm is predicted). But it's so nice to have Jess here; can't believe it's been August 2003 since I last gave her a hug!!
