Date: 2003-09-04 07:19 pm (UTC)Yep, just about! :-) I liked you even more than I thought I would, though. (And I did think I'd like you! I'd read so much of your writing and heard about you from friends, and was anxious to meet you. It's just that you exceeded my expectations because you're so sweet and so much FUN! Hope we can get together again someday...)

I'm famous, huh? LOL, I don't think so. ;-)
Thanks for your sweet comments! I hope we can meet in person someday, too.
Hugs,

Date: 2003-09-04 08:30 pm (UTC)Well, I just can't stand that Mr. Knightley fellow. (Kidding, kidding!) Hee hee. Let me see. I think Henry Crawford wins the prize. He absolutely drives me nuts because he's so conniving and full of ulterior motives. Ugh. If I start to marry someone like that, I'll depend on you to stop me, okay??? ;-)
I really, really hope we can meet in person someday too!

Date: 2003-09-05 08:30 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, I haven't been able to do much since school began. I still haven't finished Josephine Tey's The Franchise Affair (British mystery), but am hoping to before I forget what the first 3/4 was about. LOL! Otherwise, I've been slowly working my way through With Christ in the School of Prayer by Andrew Murray, which is excellent. It's been just what I've needed lately, and for the first time I'm enjoying the use of a pen for underlining. I usually hate marking in books, but somehow in non-fiction it's fun and helps me to hold on to the extra pertinent sections.

Date: 2003-09-05 08:35 pm (UTC)Well, you asked this yesterday but you get to hear about today. ;-) It actually went well. I go through so many emotions in a day at school. No, it's not like I walk around crying and laughing intermittently. LOL! It just seems like there are always moments of stress, moments of relief, moments of exultation, moments of hilarity, etc. Every day! It is mentally draining, but for the most part very worth it. Well, worth it because I know where it's where God has me right now...Otherwise it wouldn't be. :-)
Unfortunately not. We need to get someone married off soon so we can meet.
Hopefully not you! And besides, I think we can scheme to get together sans a wedding. We can do without smoo for a while yet, don't you agree? ;-)

Date: 2003-09-05 08:40 pm (UTC)My family and I homechurch with a couple of other families in the area. Our church has diminished to a very small number over the past couple of years, however, which is discouraging. :-( We've been visiting a non-denominational church (Calvary Chapel) when the homechurch doesn't meet (due to someone being out of town, etc.). Anyway, as for beliefs -- non-denominational and Bible believing would be good descriptions, I think. :-)
Thanks for your sweet comments, Cheri!

Date: 2003-09-05 08:46 pm (UTC)Ooh, I've got to keep my voice to a whisper here in case Manda is listening in. ;-) Yes, I'd love to get married someday. Lord willing, of course...But I really would, if that's what He has for me. I struggle with dying to self in this area, but I know that either way, God will provide and I will be 100% happy. Lately my prayer has simply been for His perfect will -- nothing less. So, anyway, I would like to marry and have a family, but only if it's the right thing at the right time...His time. If not, I'll stay a spinster and be glad of it. ;-)

Date: 2003-09-05 08:51 pm (UTC)Ahh, how can I possibly pick a favorite?! There are too many...the wedding itself, singing around the campfire at the coast, listening to Julie's "sermons" ;-), preparing the reception food, practicing our song for the recessional...And that's only scratching the surface. I think my favorite facet of all the memories is simply being together...Knowing you were all right there whenever I needed to talk or just a hug or some fellowship. That, to me, was the most special aspect of all!
Miss you,
