peer pressure ;-)

For those who have a few minutes to spare, I'd love reading your responses to the queries below. If not, however, I won't take the least offense. ;-)

1. How did you first find my journal?
2. Why did you originally decide to friend me?
3. What keeps you?
4. What's your favorite part of my journal?
5. What's your least favorite part of my journal?
6. Ask me a question. Be as random as you want.
7. Have you ever met me in person?

Ooh, I've got to keep my voice to a whisper here in case Manda is listening in. ;-) Yes, I'd love to get married someday. Lord willing, of course...But I really would, if that's what He has for me. I struggle with dying to self in this area, but I know that either way, God will provide and I will be 100% happy. Lately my prayer has simply been for His perfect will -- nothing less. So, anyway, I would like to marry and have a family, but only if it's the right thing at the right time...His time. If not, I'll stay a spinster and be glad of it. ;-)

Very good answer, Jess.......very inspiring that you're so dedicated to waiting for God's perfect timing. It's not easy.... I know that firsthand. :)

Oh, I know it's not easy... ::sigh:: I was preaching at myself to be more solid, because sometimes I am so impatient just to know what's ahead. I know, though, that my God is so awesome that even if (or when!) I make mistakes or assumptions in this or any area, He can still redeem them and use my weakness for His glory. (I love the verse about His strength being made perfect in weakness! I just wish it didn't always take me so long to come to the end of my own strength :-P ;-)).

P.S.
I just watched the OR video today and saw your devotional at the shower -- and it blessed me again. Your message was so pertinent and just perfect. Thank you for sharing so much!!

Ohhh....I haven't gotten my OR video yet. And I *do* love that verse you mentioned and I also know what you mean about getting to the end of our weakness before we let God do His thing. Sigh........we're all human I suppose. There will come a day when we'll all be made perfect.....hope it comes soon! :)
